NADRA Updates Pak-ID App with Easy Features for ID Cards, Family Records and More
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has added new and simple features to its Pak-ID mobile application. These updates are made to help people apply for ID cards and certificates more easily without visiting NADRA offices.
One of the biggest updates is for parents of small children. Now, parents can directly upload their child’s photo from the phone gallery when applying for a Child Registration Certificate (CRC) or an ID card for children under three years old. This means parents no longer need to travel to NADRA centres and stand in long lines just for photos.
The app has also introduced other useful options. Citizens can now update their family records by adding missing family members through the app. NADRA has also given a free biometric option, so people can submit applications even if their fingerprints or face scans do not work. Another important change is the improved Urdu interface, which makes the app easier to understand for Urdu-speaking users.

NADRA has requested citizens to download or update the Pak-ID app on Android and iOS phones. With these updates, services for CNICs, B-Forms, and Family Registration Certificates (FRCs) are now available online.
Through this digital step, NADRA is showing its effort to make identity services faster, simpler, and more accessible for every Pakistani.
