Pakistan May Get a Three-Day Holiday in September 2025 Check Dates
In 2025 from September 5 to 7 people in Pakistan will have a 3 day holiday which is for they to relax and spend time with family. This may be a long weekend as Eid Milad-un-Nabi and Defence Day are at the same time.
Eid Milad-un-Nabi (September 5)
The 12th of Rabi’ al-‘awwal is what falls on the calendar of that particular year but it will be the 5th of September. This day is a celebration of Eid Milad un Nabi, the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Annually people mark the day with special prayers, social get togethers and processions. Also a public holiday is to be expected at the time .
Defence Day (September 6)
The following Saturday, September 6th marks Pakistan’s Defence Day. We see a tribute to the brave soldiers and martyrs at home and across the country. Also as usual it is a public holiday.
A Perfect Long Weekend (September 5–7)
With every Sunday the 7th of September a typical thing to do around here is that Pakistanis get a 3 day reprieve. Out that which weekend comes around, families are out in full force for short getaways, family reunions, and also all sorts of other events they look to enjoy this long weekend.

Pakistan despite being a poorer country observes too many holidays from normal week days to annual holidays. What an unthought of decision to have Saturdays as useless weekly holidays! Around the year the time space of Pakistan has too many holidays. Poorer country like Pakistan must work for full six days a week with only one Sunday holiday.

Islam don’t have any leave even on EID all obligations are observed normal. Ramzan is either 29 or 30 days long but without any leave. Even on Friday ALLAH PAK says in quran that after juma prey go and find your earnings, means do work. So all the islamic leaves are actually Pakistani leaves. ,😄😀😃
Pakistani mostly government job holder are not interested in work if government give them this type of reflexions they will more lazy the government should arrange they have celebrate such event n duty place

Government of Pakistan no longer offers a holiday on the occasion of defence day which will be on 6th of September and those who are Government employees will have to attend offices on Saturday, as Saturdays are not off in many departments, therefore no longer weekends.
I am a student from a middle class family we hardly pay our monthly fees schools charge full 12 months fees despite the holidays.
This is totally wrong it is unfair for parents it is unfair to all the students
If school charges full month fee then they should take online classes
