Honhaar Scholarship Phase 2 2025 Payment, Registration, Apply Online & Merit List

The Punjab government has launched the Honhaar Scholarships Phase 2 in 2025. This program is started by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to support students who are talented but face financial problems. The main purpose is to make sure no student leaves education just because of money issues.

In 2024, the first phase of this scheme supported 20,000 university students. After its success, the government decided to increase the number. Now in Phase 2, almost 80,000 students will benefit. This makes it one of the biggest education support programs in Punjab’s history.

MERIT LIST

What is the Honhaar Scholarship?

This scholarship is both merit-based and need-based. It means students must be good in studies and also in need of support. The aim is simple:

• Reduce dropout rates.
• Support poor families.
• Prepare students for good jobs in the future.

Unlike before, this phase is not only for universities. It also covers:

• Colleges (Intermediate students).
• Technical and vocational institutes.
• Diploma programs (DAE).

Main Features

• More Seats: Increased from 20,000 to 80,000 students.
• More Money: Monthly stipend is now Rs. 10,000 (earlier Rs. 4,005).
• Extra Support: Laptops and internet packages for top students.
• Reserved Quotas: 5% for orphans, 5% for disabled, and 10% for rural girls.
• Easy Apply System: Online portal with updates through SMS and WhatsApp.

Who Can Apply?

• It included students from Punjab, AJK, GB, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• Must have 70% marks in the last exams.
• Family income should be less than Rs. 60,000 per month.
• Students in universities, colleges, technical or TEVTA institutes can apply.
• Cannot already have another scholarship.

How to Apply?

1. Visit the Punjab Scholarship Portal.
2. Register with CNIC, phone number, and email.
3. Fill out the form with study and income details.
4. Upload documents (CNIC, marksheet, admission letter, photo, income proof).
5. Submit and get a tracking ID to check status.
