HEC Scholarship 2025 Benefits, Eligibility, How to Apply Online & Deadline
In 2025, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan launched multiple scholarship opportunities for students pursuing education both within the country and abroad. These scholarships are designed to help specially talented and qualified students, who continue their education without worrying about money problems.
HEC PhD Scholarship (US -Pakistan Knowledge Corridor) in USA
One of the most important programs of this year is the US -Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Scholarship. This gives Pakistani students a chance to study PhD in top American universities (QS World Top 300) .
- Fall 2025 time limit: July 20, 2025
- Spring/Summer 2026 Deadline: 15 November, 2025
- Fall 2026 time limit: 30 April, 2026
Main benefits: Full tuition fee, monthly stipend, health insurance and air fare. The financial assistance offered varies according to the ranking and status of the chosen university.
International research fellowship
HEC has already provided a 6 -month research fellowship abroad for students doing PhD in Pakistan. These fellowships give them international risk, advanced research opportunities and the opportunity to connect with global experts.
HEC needed scholarship (local)
For students studying inside Pakistan, HEC offers required scholarships at graduate and postgraduate levels. This scholarship covers the cost of living with tuition fees. Applications can be collected from the financial assistance office of the respective universities.
Commonwealth Scholarship 2025
In partnership with the UK, HEC Commonwealth Scholarship is managing 2025. It is a fully funded program that supports MS and PhD students in the UK. Scholarships include tuition fees, travel costs and a living allowance for selected students.
Scotland -Pakistan Scholarship for young women 2025
With the support of the British Council, the program helps Pakistani women who want to study at the graduate or master level. The scholarship focuses on areas such as health, education, climate change, food security and STEM. This includes tuition fees coverage, hostel support and travel costs.

I am a student currently enrolled in the 7th semester of my degree program. I had applied for the HEC scholarship starting from my 3rd semester. I received the scholarship amount in my 5th semester, but unfortunately, after that, I have not received any scholarship support.
I kindly request clarification regarding this matter, as I am still an active and eligible student who depends on this financial assistance. Please let me know if there were any missing documents, academic requirements, or other issues that caused the discontinuation of my scholarship.
