HEC Laptop Scheme 2025 Announced: Eligibility, Benefits & Online Application Guide
The HEC (Higher Education Commission) and the Prime Minister’s Youth Program have started the Laptop Scheme 2025 again. The goal is to help students study better by giving free laptops to hardworking and talented students in public universities across Pakistan.
Purpose
This program helps students who can’t afford laptops. It supports online learning, research, and digital education so students can work easily from home or university.
Eligibility (Who Can Apply)
You can apply if you are:
- Studying in a public university recognized by HEC
- A Bachelor, Master, MPhil, or PhD student
- Scoring at least 60% marks or a 2.8 CGPA
- Not already a laptop receiver from the last schemes
- Enrolled student as of October 2025
Even Virtual University students in eligible programs can apply this year.

To apply, keep these ready:
- CNIC or B-Form
- University enrollment proof or ID card
- Latest mark sheet or transcript
- Matric and Inter certificates (for new students)
- A passport-size photo

- Submit the form before the last date
