CM Punjab Rashan Card Scheme 2025 – September Update

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken another big step to provide relief to the poor by launching the Punjab Ration Card Program 2025. With food prices constantly rising, this scheme is designed to help low-income families cover their essential kitchen expenses.

The government has confirmed that the registration process will be linked with the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER) survey. Families already enrolled in the Nigehban Program will automatically be included and do not need to reapply.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, families must meet the following requirements:

  • Registered with the PSER Survey.
  • Valid CNIC (as per NADRA records).
  • Monthly income below Rs. 50,000.
  • PMT Score under 35.
  • Mobile number registered with CNIC.
  • Not a government employee.
  • Only one applicant per family.
  • Not receiving aid from BISP.
  • Families already in Nigehban Program will get priority.

  • Valid CNIC/ID card.
  • Mobile number (registered on same CNIC).
  • Proof of residence/domicile.
  • Proof of income (salary slip if available).
  • Passport-size photographs.
  • Utility bill (may be required for verification).

Do Nigehban Beneficiaries Need to Apply?

No. Families already registered under the Nigehban Ramadan Package are automatically included. Their data is already verified, so they don’t need to apply again.

How to Apply for Ration Card

  • Visit the PSER Portal (official site).
  • Register with your CNIC, mobile number, and family details.
  • Fill in income, education, and health details.
  • Upload documents and submit.
  • After verification, you’ll receive an SMS confirmation.

  • Go to your nearest Union Council or Khidmat Markaz.
  • Provide CNIC and phone number.
  • Fill out the application form.
  • Submit without any charges.

How to Check Application Status

Where Can You Use the Ration Card?

  • Utility Store Corporation outlets.
  • Registered Karyana shops.
  • Ehsaas Rashan Centers (where available).

Registered shops will have government banners or QR codes for identification.
