CM Punjab Internship Program 2025 Gives Graduates Rs60,000 Per Month With Training

The Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has launched the second phase of the CM Punjab Agriculture Internship Program 2025. This scheme is designed to give young agriculture graduates a chance to earn while learning and also to help modernize farming in Punjab.

  • Eligibility: Must hold a degree in BSc Agriculture or BSc (Hons) Agricultural Engineering
  • Stipend: Each intern will receive Rs60,000 per month

CM Maryam Nawaz said this program is part of her dream for a โ€œgolden-yielding Punjabโ€. She believes educated youth can bring new technology and techniques into agriculture.

Along with this internship, the government is also running other major projects, including:

  • Kisan Card Program โ€“ for farmer support
  • Green Tractor Scheme โ€“ affordable tractors for farmers
  • Tube Well Solarization Project โ€“ cheaper electricity for farming

She also announced plans for a Model Agriculture Mall, where farmers will find all services under one roof.

Other Transport News โ€“ Electric Tram in Lahore

In addition to agriculture, the Punjab government is introducing electric trams in Lahore. The first tram has already arrived from China and will run on Canal Road.

  • Capacity: 250 passengers
  • Range: 25โ€“27 km on just a 10-minute charge
  • Design: Three connected units, fully battery-powered

This eco-friendly project works like a subway but runs on city roads. A pilot test has already started near Lahore Airport.
