British Council STEM Scholarships for Women
The British Council STEM Scholarships for Women is a scholarship program aimed at supporting women from eligible countries who are pursuing postgraduate studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields at leading universities in the United Kingdom. This scholarship is designed to help women from low-income and middle-income countries to overcome financial barriers and achieve their academic aspirations.

To be eligible for the British Council STEM Scholarships for Women, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a female citizen of an eligible country (see the list of eligible countries below)
Have a conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time postgraduate course in a STEM field at a UK university
Be able to demonstrate a commitment to contribute to the development of their home country and the advancement of women in STEM fields
Have a valid passport and meet all UK visa requirements
Be able to provide evidence of English language proficiency (minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent)
Before applying for the scholarship, applicants must have the offer to study a full-time postgraduate course in a STEM field at a UK university. They must also have evidence of their academic achievements, English language proficiency, and a clear plan for how they will use their knowledge and skills to contribute to their community.

Apply for admission to a full-time master’s degree program in a STEM-related subject at a participating UK university
Once you receive an offer of a place, you can apply for the scholarship by completing the online application form on the British Council website

You will also need to provide two references and evidence of your English language proficiency.
